the numerous July 4th festivities are approaching even faster. Every year, Hermann gets a head start on Independence
Day at the July 4th kickoff celebration held on Thursday, July third at the
Clara Eitmann Messmer Amphitheater located at the corner of Fourth and Gutenburg. This year, talented guitarist and vocalist
Steve Leslie will be performing along with Rayann Leslie, Missy Nobel, and
Danette Eckelkamp on vocals, Wes Alfermann on guitar and saxophone, Ben Holtmeyer
on percussion, Ken Schmitt on guitar and vocals, and Larry Alfermann on bass
guitar. The performance will begin at
7:30 and is expected to be a rockin’ good time!
So, grab a blanket, and one of our picnic specials, and head out to this
free musical even sponsored by the Hermann Arts Council.
make sure and join us for a second day of fun for a ton of Fourth of July
festivities. Start your Independence Day with an
informal 5K Run/Walk beginning at 7am at Hermann Fitness source. After getting some exercise, make sure to come back to the Inn and get a much needed massage, or if you’re staying at the cottages, have the massage come to you! You’re going to want to relax before coming out to see Hermann’s annual Independence Day
parade (starting at 8th and Washington) at 4 o’clock, followed by
the city band concert at the Clara Eitman Messmer Amphitheater at 7, and
fireworks ending the day over the river at 9:15.
So please, join our community for a memorable weekend of
music, parades, and fireworks, all right here in Hermann, Missouri. It’s a good time you’ll surely never forget.
