We have been very lucky to have started a successful business in Hermann, Mo, where for over 20 years we have been a part of birthdays, anniversaries and getaway celebrations of our guests, and milestones in our staff’s lives. We know we are very fortunate and that is why we are always looking for ways to give back to others in the community around us. With the help of our guests and staff here are a few of the “good things” we’ve done to help pay it forward. We encourage you all to do the same by showing a small act of kindness each and everyday.
Community events hosted by Hermann Hill raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness, Hermann Volunteer Fire Department, Hermann Area District Hospital, German American Club, Hermann Economic Development, Association of Independent Hospitality Professionals and Solar Eclipse Viewing party benefiting the Hermann Tourism.
Hermann Hill with the help of our guests have also raised thousands of dollars through the donations from our mini-bars, gifting back option of our complimentary $10 Hermann Voucher given to guests staying two or more nights, and our “pay it forward” bonus gift certificate program benefiting the Hermann Food Pantry, Back Pack Program and Ferals in Peril and Companion Animal Hospital No Kill Shelter.
Hermann Hill has also matched over $51,000 in charitable donations this year to surrounding area charities and given donations of blankets, towels and sheets to relief efforts around the country.
The spirit of giving has even caught on with our staff who volunteer their time to clean up the 2-miles Hermann Hill sponsors of the Katy Trail, as well as delivering cookies and cards made by staff with their kids for the local nursing home. We hope 2018 will be another year for our staff and others to “pay it forward”
Hi, I am a volunteer with the STL Comets Softball Club. The STL Comets formed in 2014 and is comprised of approximately 96 fast pitch softball players and their families. Teams that make up the STL Comets Softball Club include competitive Select Teams at the 12U, 14U, and 16U, 18U levels, as well as recreational teams. In this current economic environment we are working hard to provide a quality experience at a low cost expense to families. The event we will be having is a Mouse Race Fundraiser on March 9th with raffle items, silent auction items and attendance prizes. We are looking for business/people to help support these youth athletes. Please consider a donation of gift cards or merchandise for our event. Feel free to contact my by email or phone if you are able to contribute to our cause.
Thank you,
Mackenzie Sans Souci
