Festival spices up Hermann the weekend of July 10-12th. Every year
Stone Hill brings up an authentic band from the bayou of Louisiana. This year
the band in attendance will be: Brett Denais & T-Rouge, straight from Baton
Rouge.
Cajun dancing, taught and preformed by authentic Cajun dancers, mouth-watering
Cajun food, and of course, tours to the wineries with available tastings for
wine, beer and more. One, two and three day passes are available for purchase on Stone Hill’s site here.
A Trip Advisor review about Stone Hill’s Cajun Concert of
the Hill reads: “The addition of the Cajun band
performances in July made the place more festive, and together with the food,
it is definitely a draw. $12 per person to watch the Cajun band perform, with
the wine cellar tour and free wine tasting thrown in, this price is unbeatable.
Lots of parking available, there are two places to eat here at Stone Hill; the
pavilion and The Vintage Restaurant, a converted horse stable, which serves
really good food, home made desserts, and excellent wines. Stone Hill is quite
a ways from the hub of things, but you can always take the trolley.”
