October is the perfect month to take the road less traveled when coming out to Hermann Missouri! As the leaves begin to change the vibrant hues of reds, oranges and yellows makes a spectacular back drop for a relaxing weekend in the historic town of Hermann. Although it is hard to predict what exact date is the peak for fall color, the Farmers Almanac estimates the peak will fall between October 5-21 for Northern Missouri and October 12-28, for Southern Missouri. We encourage guests staying at Hermann Hill to take the road less traveled when coming to stay at Hermann Hill, our goal is for guest to experience the leaves of the Missouri Hardwoods with the sun at your back.

Kansas City Area to Hermann Hill: I-70 to Columbia, take
the scenic route with the sun at your back. Head south toward Jefferson City on Highway 63, then continue
east to Hermann on Highway 94 through the Missouri River Valley. There are
beautiful hardwoods along the Missouri River Bluffs along Hwy 63 and Hwy 94. - Leaving
Hermann Hill towards St. Louis: Take Highway 19 north to Highway 94 heading east
to Highway 40 or Highway 70 towards St. Louis. Enjoy the winding hills and
Missouri River Valley with the sun at your back.
