Discover Missouri Wineries: Wenwood Farm Winery
Owners Laura Neese and Thomas Kalb are fourth generation owners of this 400 acre farm. They took this former dairy farm and turned the calf barn into a tasting room, the dairy barn into a wine production area and the bull barn into the event pavilion.
Tom had been interested in wine making since 14 years old. He worked at a fruit and berry winery in Wisconsin for 10 years and received additional experience at a couple of wineries in Hermann. Laura worked several years at Hermannof Winery which gave her some great experience.
The couple does not maintain vineyards at this time. They purchase grapes locally for their wines. A large part of the business at Wenwood Farm Winery involves special events such as concerts, dinners, hayrides and gatherings.
