Mike and Lynette Sloan, proprietors are known for their in store made Wurst selections. Located in Historic Hermann, Missouri, the Hermann Wurst Haus makes more than 40 varieties of fresh and smoked sausages and bratwursts. Over the course of his career, Mike Sloan’s handcrafted meats and sausages have won more than 350 national, regional and state awards, including 13 best of show honors.They also carry fresh cut steaks, roasts, chops, ribs, Artisan wurst, cheese, deli, spices, Amish products, mail order, and complete deer processing with 15 varieties of deer sausage, jerky, and snack stix. Plus a great selection of micro-brewed beers and Missouri wines.
We have been recommending their place for lunch and/or dinner and our guests are loving it. A true German deli complete with with pretzel rolls and German potato salad. If you don’t see what you want then build your own sandwich.
A unique attraction to the Hermann Wurst House are the tours they will give of their meat processing plant. They do it all right there.
