Art Walks and Talks, Hermann Artists, Hermann, Missouri

There is a very exciting event happening near our Hermann Missouri bed and breakfast. On October 15 and 16 there will be The Artists of Wine Country Art Walks and Talks. This Special Free Self-Guided Walking Tour to art galleries, a museum, murals and a historic church in the historic district of Hermann will feature a few very brief “Art Talks” by Artists of Wine Country about their artwork.   There will also be special guests talking about some of the unique art treasures and architecture in Hermann. Some of you might remember the Studio Tours, this event is replacing that. The “Art Walks & Talks Guide” can be picked up at the Gasconade Country Historical Society Community Room at 315 Schiller Street. Most the studios are located in historic homes and storefronts which is interesting in itself.

This is a great opportunity to find unique gifts for the holidays and other special occasions that will be coming up. All of the artists have their own unique array of mediums such as metal, watercolor, oil, pastel, fiber, vitreous enamel and wood. There is so much to see and hear that you will want to take advantage of the two days  and make sure that you spend enough time talking to the artist himself. Our bed and breakfast in wine country Missouri still has a couple of openings. Come out and enjoy our local art.
