Continue east on W. 2nd street for 1/2 block to the Strehly House on the right.
 

The Strehly House is one of several buildings which comprise Deutschheim State Historic Site. Deutschheim, meaning “German home”, is the German cultural museum for Missouri managed by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation Department. Tours of the Strehly House, Pommer-Gentner House (on Market St.), and adjacent gardens are offered daily. Tour information is available at the site office at 107 W. 2nd St. Take time to read about Deutschheim on the signs in front of each building.
