Single Night Weekend Availability
We hold five of our eight Hermann Hill Suites at the inn for single night weekend booking November to May and three Hermann Hill Suites at the inn for single night weekend booking June to September.  We normally book all cottages for a minimum two night stay, except when only a single night is available between two multiple night reservations. All eight inn rooms are available for single night weekday (Sunday-Thursday) reservations.  Did you know that combined with our American Hero special(see below)you can stay two midweek nights for less than a one night stay on the Weekend?

Last Minute Availability - Specials

Crazy Thursday Mornings: Thursdays are the day when couples frequently decide they want to do something over the weekend or in the coming week. It’s also the day that we look at our room inventory and decide what kind of last minute specials we can offer guests to book our remaining rooms. Are you a last minute planner? We think serendipity is good and if you wait, you'll get a great rate when staying at the Inn! Book your Hermann Hill Inn getaway less than 24 hours in advance of your arrival, and you will receive a 25% discount off your midweek (Monday. - Thursday.) reservation and a 10% discount off your weekend reservation (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.) Feel free to call Debbie, our front desk manager Thursday, between 8:00 AM 3:00 PM for last minute weekend special availability and pricing.

Guests occasionally ask why last minute discounts cannot be applied to cottages and why our cottage rates are based on multiple night stays.  The simple answer is that with the cleaning of the larger cottages and refilling outside hot tubs, our cost and time needed to make a cottage ready for a new guest are greater than our Inn suites.  While our cottage pricing is based on multiple night stays, feel free to call our front desk (573-486-4455) about booking a single night at our cottage, subject to occupancy and availability factors.  When possible to book a cottage for a single night, there will be a $50.00 up charge from our standard rates for more cleaning staff necessary to allow a one night cottage stay.

American Hero Specials - Active Military, Police, Fire, Clergy, and other Emergency Personnel

We always offer a 10% discount on weekday (Monday-Thursday) rooms and cottages for active military**, police, fire, the clergy, and other currently employed emergency personnel in addition to any other discounts. This means that our American Heroes can stay two midweek nights less than a single Saturday. We thank you for all that you do to keep us safe and help us in our time of need.

** If you are active military stationed abroad ask us about our liberal cancellation policies.

1. Same Time Next Year
We introduced this program in December 2004, and it is our most popular special. Book the room or cottage of your choice for next year before you depart, and we'll give you this year's rates and an envelope that will be wax sealed for you to record your thoughts on the coming year. We then put that envelope in your room on the day of your arrival. As another reward for our Same Time Next Year guests you can bring a second couple for the same rate as you pay for your 2011 stay.   

2. Hermann Hill's Rewards Program
Introduced in our August 2008 Newsletter, this program rewards our repeat guests. After you've stayed 10 nights with us, you'll receive a gift certificate equal to 10 percent of what you spent. It's just that simple, and for most guests it means their eleventh night is free. Features of the plan include:

• Rewards are retroactive to January 1, 2008, so all of this year's nights count.
• American Hero Specials, multiple-night discounts, Same Time Next Year, and Last-Minute Discounts still apply.
• As you get close to your tenth night, we'll send you an email reminder, so you can plan your next stay. Beginning in November, 2010, we'll also send you an update with each reservation.
  

Order any of our packages and gift baskets at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation and we will be happy to place it in your Inn room or Village Cottage when you arrive. We’re happy to personalize your gift basket with additional items to fit the occasion. For example, we can also add vouchers for area restaurants, wineries, shops, grocery stores, and bakeries in $5 increments.

Over 40% of our guests use Hermann Hill gift certificates when booking their stay. Children give them to parents for a little R&R, and parents give them to their children needing a break from home. Offices collect funds to buy them as wedding gifts and spouses give them to one another for birthdays, anniversaries, and Christmas. Hermann Hill gift certificates never expire and can be used at both the inn and Village Cottages.
