Since Hermann now has a quiet zone, there are few train whistles, so train romance at the Inn is virtually non-existent. |
Train tracks are located at the base of the river bluff. Since Hermann now has a quiet zone, there are few train whistles, but you will hear train noise and feel their vibration. Train romance at the cottages is still alive and well, judging from guest journal entries. |

Guests can choose from six hot full breakfast entrees and two continental breakfasts served in the Kitchen, Dinning Room, and Deck at 9AM, or in your room between 9:15 and 10:00AM. Breakfast entrees change daily and frequently include omelets and Belgian Waffles made to order.

The kitchen refrigerator is stocked with some of the same Hermann Hill entrees we serve at the inn, along with a waffle maker and waffle mix, fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, breads for toast, etc. Guests also have the option of breakfast delivery for $35 dollars for two days. |

| Cottage #1 Information: We have one cottage (Cottage #1) that can accommodate up to 8 people at a reduced rate --- great for family and friend reunions, mother/daughter events, card groups, and business retreats. We sometimes book either the top floor, or lower floor, exclusively to a single couple --- just like the rest of the cottages. We just let you pick the bedroom you want, and we simply lock the other. |
