For eight happy years, Fred greeted guests, offered to share his toys, mooched treats, and longed (in vain) for the day when he would be allowed guide guests on the three-mile walk. Our remaining lab Gracie misses her best friend, but she won’t be lonely for long. A new puppy—a male black/chocolate lab mix—will be coming home to the Inn in about three weeks.
