Hermann's 30th Annual Wurstfest, March 28-29, will feature a sausage making competition, samples, the popular weiner dog derby, and German musicians and dancers.
Wurstfest Weekend at Deutschheim, March 28-29, will feature special exhibits and samples of locally made sausages.
The Second Annual Tour of Hermann Bike Event, April 17-19, will include time trials, a road race, and other events.

Saluting Local Heroes

- Dennis and Becky K. of St. Peters are foster and adoptive parents, active members of their church, and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. They were nominated by Randy and Rhonda Dick.
- Bob Wheeler of Florissant started a Spirit League for kids with special needs and takes basketball teams to the state Special Olympics. He was nominated by Pat and Darienne Brueggen.
