Happening at Hermann Hill

The Taste for the Arts Festival this weekend at the Hermannhof Hofgarten will feature live music, juried artsts from "Best of Missouri Hands," and great food. Hours are 10:00 to 5:00 Saturday and 10:00 to 4:00 Sunday.

The theme for this Saturday and Sunday's Garden Tour and Plant Sale, sponsored by the Hermann Garden Club, is Growing Green and Going Native. Tickets ($10 each) may be purchased at the German School.

The Rhythm & Brews Festival on June 20 will feature beers from top microbreweries. Hosted by Tin Mill Brewery.

Cruisin' on the Katy, an annual 225-mile tour of Katy Trail State Park from Clinton to St. Charles, will stop in Hermann June 24. Call 800-334-6946 for information.

Hermann puts on a spectacular Fourth of July fireworks display. Hermann Hill's decks and balconies are some of the best viewing spots in town.

Special Days at Hermann Hill this Summer

We've selected two weekdays in June as special rewards days for guests at the Vineyard Inn. Book a room with us on Monday, June 15, or Tuesday, June 30, and you'll receive a $40 gift certificate to enjoy at a local restaurant.

We'll be announcing more "restaurant days" in July, August, and September. Our Hermann Hill guarantee means all promotions are retroactive, so guests who've already reserved an Inn room on one of these special days will receive a restaurant check. Bon apetit!

Local Hero Awards

This month, Hermann Hill gift certificates go to:

Chet and Michelle Cantrell, nominated by Don and Betty Courtial. The Cantrells are directors of a center that provides educational, health care and psychological support for underprivileged children.
Tina Marwizi, nominated by Jana Salmons. Tina, whose husband is deployed with the military, cares for disabled adults and children from her own home and from care centers.

Sales Room Employee Award

Hermann Hill guests named Kim Crowe of Stone Hill Winery winery/brewery sales room employee of the month for May. Jeff and Stacey Sandberg won the guest card drawing.
