Who's Your Local Hero?
Every community has its unsung local heroes — volunteers who work quietly behind the scenes, making the world a better place for us all. You'll find them on Little League fields and in church basements, in daycare centers and nursing homes.
Last year, Hermann Hill guests who presented a receipt from a charitable donation received a bottle of our Port-Chocolate Raspberry Sauce. In 2009, one of our New Year's resolutions is to help our guests give local heroes the recognition they deserve.
Our check-in folders now include a form guests can use to nominate a local hero for a monthly drawing for a $100 Hermann Hill gift certificate. If your nominee wins, we'll send you the gift certificate so you can present it in person. Guests who stayed with us the first week of January will receive a nomination form in the mail.
Stay two or more nights and receive $20 in Hermann bucks to spend as you wish at area restaurants and shops, plus two tickets to Deutschheim State Historic Site. - Book a stay Monday-Thursday and take 10 percent off our low mid-week rates for the second night and 20 percent off for subsequent nights.

Purchase a Hermann Hill gift certificate for $150 or more between now and March 31 and your recipient will receive an additional $20 voucher to spend in our gift shop. Purchase a gift certificate for $400 or more and we'll double the offer with two $20 vouchers.
