In Memoriam—A Tribute to Fred
All of us at Hermann HIll are in mourning for Fred, our loving and faithful companion who died on May 4. For eight happy years, Fred greeted guests, offered to share his toys, mooched treats, and longed for the day when he would be allowed to tag along on the three-mile walk.
Gracie, who has taken up Fred's duties as chief guest greeter, won’t be lonely for long. A new puppy—a black lab/chocolate lab mix—will be arriving at the Inn in about three weeks. If you have an idea for a name, please send us an email with " puppy name” in the subject line.

Chris and Alice of Fenton write . . . We were so blessed to celebrate our ninth wedding anniversary at Hermann Hill this year! It was our first night away from our home and children ever. So, you can say we were celebrating a kind of intimacy and freedom that is atypical of our life together thus far. Hermann Hill Inn is very beautiful and luxurious—we enjoyed every amenity and every moment. Our hope is to make this an annual getaway—and not wait another nine years!
