We'd like to treat you to dinner.
Hermann Hill guests often remark on how much they enjoy our great breakfasts. With our new April promotion* you can have dinner on us, as well. Here's how it works:
Book two midweek nights (Monday through Thursday) at the Vineyard Inn and you'll receive a $40 check, payable to one of Hermann's great restaurants. Stay three nights and you'll receive a second $40 check.
- Book two midweek nights (Monday through Thursday) at a Riverbluff Cottage and you'll receive a bratwurst grilling basket, with four brats from Swiss Meats, buns, sauerkraut, mustards, a Hermann Hill basting mug and brush, and a bottle of our Naked Grilling Sauce. Stay a third night and you'll also receive two steaks from Swiss Meats, twice-baked potatoes, a veggie and bread.
- PLUS . . . if you book your midweek stay for the first 15 days of April, you'll also receive $20 in Hermann Bucks to spend as you wish.
*This offer may be used in combination with our multiple-night midweek and American Hero Discounts, but not with a last-minute discount.
Dog lovers prevail. (Was there ever any doubt?)
Listening and responding to guests' comments has been the key to Hermann Hill's success. But despite much lobbying, we've always said no to pets. (A fairly hypocritical policy, we admit, since we like to take Fred and Gracie along when we travel.)
Now, after much discussion, we're ready to give pet-friendly a try. We've designated a vineyard-level room at the Inn (Vidal) and Cottage 502 for responsible owners with well-behaved dogs. If you'd like to be part of this experiment, give us a call at 573-486-4455.
Our guests write . . .
Reading our guests' stories of their stay in Hermann is one of our favorite pastimes. Here are excerpts from the latest winning entries, which are posted on our web site.
Mike and Sonya from St. Louis wrote . . . We love leaving life behind and concentrating on just the two of us. Hermann Hill is our little secret that we almost don't want to "let out!"
Buzz and Chere from St. Charles wrote . . . All we wanted was a relaxing weekend. What we found was light years beyond our expectations. Peggy and Terry do a great job of paying attention to every detail. We are two working parents, so breakfast in bed was a rare and special treat.
Dave and Jan from Florissant wrote . . . Thanks, Hermann Hill, for a wonderful 15th anniversary! We drove the Hermann Wine Trail on a beautiful March day, starting with Adam Puchta Winery. At Stone Hill we bought a bottle of Port that we hope to open on our 20th anniversary.
Your innkeepers,
