Dear Guests & Friends,
May is a wonderful time to visit Hermann Hill. Our efforts last fall planting 2500 bulbs
(November
newsletter) paid off with the great color seen below. We recently added 100 day lilies to the center of each of the thirty daffodil circles to complete that project on the west side of our driveway. Local
photography student Ashley is shown here participating in a photo workshop at Hermann Hill. More of her pictures can be seen in our

The grapes are exploding in green and the town of Hermann is getting ready for its
52nd Maifest with an annual cleanup encouraged by our Mayor and City Council. Maifest is always held the third weekend in May and is the perfect time to celebrate spring, remember a bit of the old, and sample some of
Hermann's famous German recipes. |
