As their first Hermann Hill venue was taking shape, Terry and Peggy Hammer commissioned Linda to do oil paintings for each guest room, capturing the inspirational panorama and seasonal changes that have since brought pleasure to so many visitors.

Her most recent paintings reflect the magestic river & bluffs seen from their newest site, Hermann Hill Village.

Retired from a 26 year teaching career, which launched many students into art and graphic design, Linda is now a full-time working artist. Her numerous commissions include the Gasconade County Courthouse Mural Project, and First Bank calendars and cards, which received nationwide attention. Her work can be found in collections across the country. Linda is a member of the St. Louis Art Guild, the Columbia Art League and Missouri Watercolor Society. She assists locally with the Toedtmann Youth Art Project, which provides special educational opportunities for area youth with exceptional talent and interest in art.
