Hermann Area Museums

Local museums tell the story of the historic town of Hermann and the settlers who discovered and developed Missouri’s first wine country. We encourage guests to visit these historical sites during their stay at Hermann Hill, as exploring the town is as much a part of a Hermann Hill getaway as a stay at the inn or the cottages.

With more than 110 buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Hermann is dedicated to preserving its unique place in the history of Missouri’s Gasconade County, and continues to do so, through its restoration projects and museum expansions.
