201 is the upper unit of the Steamboat Cottage and is named after the great Heckmann steamboat captains. This cottage is located on our most challenging building site and includes a steep concrete sidewalk to access the split foyer entrance. Trees surround the cottage and privacy walls protect the deck. It has a king size  mansion bed, a see-thru fireplace (to the living room) with flat screen TV in front of the bed, aromatherapy fireplace beside a six foot round Jacuzzi, a steam shower with body sprays and rain forest head, and hot tub outside the deck reached through a door directly from the bedroom.
The kitchen and living room are to the east of the bedroom. Dormer windows provide natural light for the bedroom, kitchen, and living room. The kitchen includes a large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, table and chairs, and utensils. The living room has the same see-thru fireplace (to the bedroom), flat screen TV, couch and door leading to the deck which in addition to the hot tub also has a gas grill. The deck has a covered area with table and chairs. Spectacular views of the Missouri River are to the north, and guests can view both the sunrise and sunset. |
